Every flavour we bake, priced by weight. Vanilla, theme and red velvet start at ৳450 a pound. Chocolate, ros malai and chocolate overloaded use more ingredients, so they cost a little more.

A home bakery, not a production line
We do not keep finished cakes in stock. Baking starts once your order is confirmed, which is why we ask for a day or two of notice — and why the cake reaches you soft rather than chilled and dense. Everything is made in our own kitchen in Jhikargacha and delivered across Jashore.

Three chocolate cakes, and how they differ
A plain chocolate sponge is cocoa in the batter with chocolate buttercream on top. It is light, not very sweet, and the version children usually prefer. It also carries decoration well, so most birthday cakes with a name or a cartoon on top start from this base.
A chocolate truffle cake replaces the buttercream with ganache — chocolate melted into cream and poured over so it sets to a smooth, glossy shell. It is denser, noticeably richer, and the one adults tend to choose. A chocolate fudge sits between the two: a sponge soaked in chocolate syrup with a thick fudge layer through the middle, so it eats moist rather than glossy.

Which one to order
For a child's birthday, take the plain sponge. It is lighter, children eat more of it, and it is the base that holds a piped name, an age number or a cartoon theme cleanly. Ganache is a poor surface to decorate on top of, so a truffle cake usually stays plain and glossy.
For an anniversary, an office gathering or anything where the guests are mostly adults, the truffle is the better cake — a small slice satisfies, so a one-pound stretches further than it looks. In Jashore's summer months keep in mind that ganache softens in heat; if the cake has to sit out on a table for hours, the fudge holds its shape better than a poured ganache does.

What a chocolate cake costs
Chocolate costs more than plain vanilla, and it is worth being straight about that rather than quoting you the cheapest number on the site. A chocolate cake is ৳320 for half a pound and ৳600 for a pound, against ৳270 and ৳450 for vanilla. The difference is the cocoa and the chocolate itself, which are the expensive part of the cake.
Truffle and fudge are priced the same as the plain chocolate sponge — the ganache and the fudge layer are included, not an upgrade. Chocolate overloaded is the exception and sits well above the rest at ৳500 for half a pound and ৳950 for a pound, because it is chocolate on chocolate the whole way through.
Writing, an age number, colours and a cartoon theme are all included at no extra charge. Only photo prints and tiered builds are quoted separately, because they need different materials and a lot more time.

A day's notice is enough for a chocolate cake, two if there is a theme design on it. Everything is baked after the order is confirmed, so the cake going to your door was made that day, not taken off a counter.
