The half pound cake price is ৳270 for vanilla, theme cake and red velvet — the cheapest proper cream cake we make. Chocolate and lemon are ৳320, strawberry and half-vanilla-half-chocolate ৳350, ros malai ৳450 and chocolate overloaded ৳500.
Black forest is the one flavour we do not bake at half a pound. Its layered cherry and cream work does not hold its proportions at that size, so it starts at one pound instead — the cake would look wrong rather than simply small.

How many people does a half pound cake serve?
A half pound cake serves two to four people. For a couple, a small family or a child whose birthday is really about the candles and the photograph, it is the right size and there is nothing left going stale afterwards.
For five people or more, the 1 pound at ৳450 is the better decision. It is ৳180 more for roughly twice the cake, which is the biggest jump in value anywhere on our price list.

Below this figure you are generally looking at packaged dry cake or a slice rather than a decorated cake made for an occasion. That is a different product, and it is worth knowing the difference before comparing prices between shops.

Delivery is charged separately by distance from our kitchen in Jhikargacha, Jashore, and shown at checkout before you confirm. On a ৳270 cake the delivery is worth checking first, since for the farther areas it is a real share of the total.
